Friendly pricing, highly addictive...
Do you have old family photos, random holiday snaps, or a billion photos of your cat on your phone? I can turn your memories into beautiful sketches to treasure.
There's something really special about seeing your memories made into art. Having a physical drawing to frame and display in your home is a new way to enjoy and celebrate your life and loved ones.
About my custom sketches
I specialise in custom pet sketches, which have been very popular over the years. But after doing some local sketches from photos I took during a town festival, people started asking for more than just pet drawings – they wanted to know about family sketches, custom Christmas cards, and events...
So, I have decided to expand and give the people what they want!

What to expect...
I'm not a "people portraitist" – I'm a sketch artist – which means I don't aim for an exact likeness. My work is done fairly quickly, and I'm looking to capture the energy, atmosphere, emotions and life of a scene. A more realistic drawing would take much longer and cost much more, but I want my art to be accessible.
So my work is all about suggestion over detail, and the results are fun, charming, but still recognisable. (For example, I posted the festival sketches on this page on local Facebook groups and people instantly recognised themselves and commented or got in touch.)
I use a combination of art materials to bring the work to life – usually pencil, ink pen, and soluble graphite, occasionally with soluble carbon and charcoal (for larger work) on paper. I'm not confident enough using colour in my sketches yet, but keep an eye on my socials as I am always experimenting.
I offer single drawings or sets & collections. To keep my prices friendly, I don't offer framing. However, I do offer common sizes that are easy to buy frames for, and your drawings will come beautifully gift-wrapped, to make the receiving and opening experience even more special!

P&P
Postage & Packaging is calculated individually based on where you live and how you would like your parcel delivered. You can choose between standard delivery, tracked, and signed-for. I recommend tracked to be covered for loss and damage
Fast-track
I prefer not to fast-track orders as I don't think it's fair for other customers, but I understand that sometimes it is needed, and I can make exceptions.
To skip my list, there is a 50% priority fee of your total order amount, not including P&P. During the peak Christmas rush period (Nov-Dec), this increases to a 100% priority fee of your total order amount due to limited capacity, which means you'll be paying double.
Please note: There is limited availability on rush slots, and you may have to pay extra P&P where a guaranteed delivery day is required.

FAQ:
What is a "single drawing"?
A single drawing is ONE sketch drawn from ONE reference photo. The photo can contain more than one pet or person.
I offer single drawings in three different sizes: A5, A4 and A3. When choosing, keep in mind that the smaller the drawing and the more pets or people in the photo, the less detail there will be.
People who buy a single sketch often come back to add to a collection over time.
What is a "set of 3"?
Also called "Minis", a set of 3 includes three separate A6 sketches drawn from the three photos you provide. These could be framed individually or together in a multi-frame or a bespoke frame (framing is not provided).
As described above, I am happy to draw extra sketches to help fill a multi-frame at £15 per extra drawing.
People love these for more structured wall displays, hanging pictures side by side or vertically. They also look nice hung at different heights or placed throughout your home.
What is a "gift set"?
A gift set is a beautiful collection of drawings in different sizes. I'll ask for a selection of photos to work from; these can be of many different pets, people or places. Then I'll create a set of drawings for a unique and special gift for yourself or a special person in your life.
The "surprise" element of not knowing what you'll get is also quite fun! As described above, you may specify a size and orientation for drawings of specific photos to fit any frames you already have.
People love to give gift sets for special occasions like birthdays or Christmas. They're also a great way to treat yourself if you want to design a wall display or to have drawings of your pets, family or friends displayed in different parts of your home.
I think they also make really special memorial gifts to remember pets who have passed over the rainbow bridge.
Feeling confused?
I've tried to keep it simple, but there is a lot of information here. So if you're feeling confused and you don't know what you want, get in touch, and I can help you decide what's right for you – whether you're treating yourself or buying a gift for a loved one or friend.
